Our painting of The Last Judgement by Jan Brueghel the Elder has been loaned to the exhibition Brueghel & Van Balen, artists & accomplices, which opens at the Musée de Flandre, in Cassel, France, on 17^th May.  The exhibition celebrates the work of Jan Brueghel the Elder, one of the most eminent painters in Antwerp at the beginning of the 17^th century, who died 400 years ago this year, and his lesser-known colleague, Hendrick van Balen, with a particular focus upon their remarkable working relationship.  The two painters were close friends and frequent collaborators, who over the course of some 20 years, executed many works together.  The exhibition runs until 28 September, 2025.
